All LANpoint data collection computers are open architecture PC's with Microsoft Windows CE.NET operating systems, wired or wireless Ethernet connectivity and barcode/Biosensor/magnetic strip data collection capabilities. Use standard programming languages or off-the-shelf software, and standard network management tools. Whether NEMA-12 (IP52) rated dust and water resistance, or NEMA-4 (IP66) rated for hose-down or other harsh environments. All models have digital isolated I/O (for sensing on/off conditions and turning devices-lights, alarms, motors, etc,-on and off) included or as option. All models have battery backup and off-line processing with local data storage capabilities. Microterminals & Lanpoint computers was a product of Burr-Brown Corporation and designed and manufactured by Intelligent Instrumentation Inc. in the USA.
